Shipping policy

This Shipping & Returns Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and handled by Specialised Welding Systems (SWS). 

Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped using Australia Post. Shipping options, including Standard and Express delivery, are displayed at checkout where available.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–5 business days. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

Processing times may vary during peak periods or due to stock availability. If a significant delay occurs, SWS will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

Selecting Express shipping applies to delivery speed after dispatch and does not reduce order processing time.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination.

  • Standard shipping: typically 2–14 business days after dispatch
  • Express shipping: typically 1–3 business days after dispatch
  • International shipping: delivery times vary by destination

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside SWS’s control, including carrier delays, weather conditions, or customs processing.

Delivery Addresses

SWS ships to Australian residential and business addresses, including PO Boxes. International shipping is available to selected destinations.

Shipment Confirmation and Tracking

Once an order has been dispatched, a shipment confirmation email with tracking details will be sent. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active.

International Orders, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

Damage or Loss in Transit

If an order arrives damaged, please contact SWS as soon as practicable with photos of the damage and packaging. Where appropriate, SWS will assist with lodging a claim or arranging a replacement in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Customers should retain all packaging materials until the issue has been resolved.
