Founded in 2014, Specialised Welding Systems began with humble beginnings in a shed on the family farm, with a clear goal: to provide reliable, quality welding equipment to Australian welders & fabricators. We’ve always operated as an online only company lean, direct, and focused on serving end users across Australia and around the globe.
Beyond Rebranding
We’ve always worked hard to maintain quality at SWS. Our past and present products have proven reliable and performed great. But imported, built, and designed machines sometimes mean less control over design features and quality. That’s why we’re now designing, engineering, and assembling our own products right here at SWS — so you get the best products we can offer.
Looking Ahead
Today, SWS is a small team of passionate welders and engineers, developing new TIG welding gear from the ground up. With a focus on real-world performance, we’re hands-on with every stage — from circuit design and testing to assembly and field feedback. By keeping our team lean and our scope tight, we’re able to stay agile, avoid compromise, and push for genuine innovation in the TIG space.
